Agriculture under Artificial Environment

Background and Proposal : In the future, people live in well developed society at the cost of environment. Clean  and healthy natural environment is scarce, so that we aim to create unpolluted environment to breed oysters and control the humidity, temperature, oxygen and nutriment by artificial way. Besides, high density cities make farm land less and less. Due to the limited space, we assume that the oyster farm on the ocean could be vertical in order to promote the production efficiency. 

And we do some research about oyster's life circle, the breeding process and the function of oyster

According to our research, one oyster can purify 50 gallon of water one day.

3.Function of oyster reef

When growing, oyster can become soft and stick to each other tightly and thus form the oyster reef.  The oyster is a natural wall against storm surge and providing a safe habitat for many animals.
